This policy covers the Good Day Source website and the DistrictAssist service.

3. Information we collect on this website

Contact forms collect the details you submit, such as name, email, phone, organization, and message. This website does not run a third-party advertising or analytics cookie product. Our web host may keep standard server logs, including IP address, browser, and the time of a request, for security and operations.

4. How we use it

We use this information to respond to inquiries and provide services. We do not sell personal information.

5. DistrictAssist service data

DistrictAssist is staff-only. It does not collect student records. Details on storage, encryption, retention, and deletion are on the Security & Privacy page. If a district's data privacy agreement conflicts with this policy, the agreement controls.

6. Sharing and sub-processors

DistrictAssist data is processed by Amazon Web Services only. Website form messages are delivered by the email provider configured for this site. We do not sell personal information.

7. Retention and deletion

Website inquiry emails are kept so we can respond and keep a record of the request. DistrictAssist retention and deletion are described on the security page: question history for 12 months, immediate deletion of a removed document and its extracted text, and deletion of all district data within 30 days of contract end or sooner on request.

8. Security

DistrictAssist uses TLS 1.2+ in transit and encryption at rest. Website forms are sent over HTTPS.

9. Children's privacy

This website and DistrictAssist are not directed to children. DistrictAssist does not collect student data.

10. Your choices and requests

To request access to or deletion of personal information, email manuel@gooddaysource.com.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
